XAVIER GEORGES

Xavier Georges is a multi-skilled designer and cultural programmer who has devoted the greater part of his career to the performing arts, with experience in Theatre,TV, Corporate Events, Music Videos, 

Commercials, Short and Feature length films with more than 25 years of experience.

 

His work has been multidisciplinary, with ground 

experience from Technician all the way to Production Designer and Producer. As cultural programmer, Xavier is the founder of the French Cultural Network of NL and “Rafale FM” the French Newfoundland radio station.

 

In 2011, Xavier pursued is career in film by producing and directing the “Frolic” documentary, Mary Barry’s

music video “Les Engoulevents” and working as Art Director for the CBC TV series “Republic of Doyle” during the show’s Seasons 3, 4, 5 and 6.

 

Xavier has been nominated for “Best Production Design” for his work on the drama feature “Cast no Shadows” at the Canadian Screen Awards in 2015 and he is the creator and producer of the documentary series “Hors

Circuits” to be aired on UNIS TV in April 2016. He is currently working at the head of the Art Department on the newly produced period series, 'Frontier'.
